Endurance Federal Credit Union in Duncan, OK awarded four seniors from Duncan, OK, Comanche, OK and Elk City, OK with $1,000 scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year.
This was the 18th year for the Devon Strickland Memorial Scholarship, the 9th year for the Wynona “Nona” Driskell Scholarship, the 4th year for the Kevin Bilbrey Memorial Scholarship, and the 2nd year for the Gary Lovett Scholarship.
The scholarships were based on academics, extra-curricular activities, and an essay.
Chris Bower, President and CEO, praised the caliber of the applicants, stating, “All of the candidates were outstanding. Our scholarship committee faced a challenging decision in selecting just four recipients. Each winner demonstrated strong financial literacy skills and an understanding of how their credit union can support their financial well-being as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.”
Each scholarship was presented at the school scholarship ceremonies, and the seniors were highlighted on the Endurance FCU social media pages.
