Envision Credit Union receives Diamond Award from the Credit Union National Association

Award recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements

TALLAHASSEE, FL (April 25, 2019) — Envision Credit Union (Envision) was recently honored with two Diamond Awards at the annual Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing and Business Development conference in Las Vegas. The Diamond Awards, which recognize outstanding marketing and business development achievements, are awarded each year to credit unions across the nation. This year, Envision earned a Category’s Best in the Nation award for the Classroom Grant video series, as well as an award for its new Swipe for Schools logo design.

“I am thrilled that Envision was honored with two Diamond Awards at the CUNA conference this year,” said Darryl G. Worrell, President and CEO of Envision. “Our team works tirelessly to serve the community through initiatives such as Swipe for Schools and Classroom Grants. The video series helped capture the essence of our work and to be recognized for it on a national level is an incredible achievement.”

Designed to promote local educators in the community, the Classroom Grant video series showcased past winners of Envision’s Classroom Grant and how they are using these funds to enhance education in North Florida and South Georgia. Each year the credit union donates $24,000 to help teachers expand their curriculum and engage students. Envision took home the Category’s “Best in the Nation” Diamond Award for a non-commercial video series on this topic.

Envision also received a Diamond Award for its updated Swipe for Schools logo design. Each time a member swipes their Envision VISA® debit card for a purchase, the credit union donates five cents to help fund backpack programs that feed students in the North Florida and South Georgia areas. The program has been in effect since 2013 and each year the credit union donates up to $17,000. Recently they decided to update the Swipe for Schools logo to a more eye-catching design. This design was recognized by CUNA as an outstanding marketing development and won a Diamond Award in the logo category.

Diamond Awards are presented by the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council, a national network comprised of over 1,300 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards are given in 36 distinct categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond.
