Everwise Credit Union is pleased to announce that it has earned  Certification™ as a Great Workplace by Great Place To Work.® Everwise is the only CertifiedTM Great Place to Work® credit union based in Indiana. The prestigious award is based solely on  honest and anonymous feedback from current employees about their experience working at  Everwise. In a June survey, nearly 70% of Everwise employees agreed that it is a great place  to work – 12 points higher than the average U.S. company. Additionally, 85% of employees  said that they were made to feel welcome when joining the company.

Great Place To Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and  the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention, and  increased innovation.

"Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent  and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the  Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasizes that  Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees  regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that  Everwise stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace  environment for its employees."

In 2024, Everwise advanced its commitment to an equitable and people-first culture through  several key initiatives. A comprehensive compensation review led to a new salary structure  with defined ranges and job grades, resulting in market adjustments for over 56% of  employees and promoting fairness and transparency. New incentive programs were also  introduced, aligning rewards with performance and making all employees eligible for one of  the updated plans. Everwise’s impact also extended beyond the workplace during its fifth  corporate-wide Day of Giving, with nearly 650 employees volunteering at 45 nonprofit sites  across Indiana and Michigan. Plus, Everwise employees provided more than 5,300 service  hours throughout the year, and together with the Everwise Foundation, the credit union gave  over $900,000 to 374 local organizations. And, reflecting its deep-rooted culture of  compassion, Everwise supported team members in crisis through the Connie Varga  Employee Assistance Fund, distributing over $10,000 in emergency grants to employees in  need.

“Becoming Great Place To Work-Certified is an impactful milestone because it reflects the  culture and environment we strive to create at Everwise,” said Jason M. Osterhage, President  + CEO of Everwise. “Putting people first is something we passionately believe in, and this  certification is a testament that we’re moving in the right direction. We owe this success to the

care, dedication, and positivity our team brings to life each day and we thank them for all they  do to make Everwise a great place to work.”

According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a  great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces  are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid  fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
