Continuing its commitment to affordable housing in the Carolinas, Family Trust Federal Credit Union is joining fellow credit unions across the Upstate in support of the 2026 Credit Union Build in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Greenville County.
This year’s build holds special significance as it is part of Habitat Greenville’s 40th Anniversary Community Collection, commemorating four decades of expanding homeownership opportunities in Greenville County. The milestone initiative reflects a bold commitment to innovative housing solutions and long-term affordability for local families.
The annual Credit Union Build brings multiple credit unions together to help fund and construct a home for a Greenville family. By pooling financial support, volunteer hours, and industry collaboration, participating institutions demonstrate the cooperative spirit that defines the credit union movement.
Members of the Family Trust executive leadership team attended kickoff build activities in support of the initiative. Throughout the construction process, Family Trust employees will volunteer alongside Habitat staff, fellow credit union teams, and the future homeowners.

The 2026 Credit Union Build will culminate in the dedication of a newly constructed home, made possible through the combined generosity and hands-on service of local credit unions and community partners.
