Fergus Federal Credit Union spreads Halloween spirit to the local elderly

LEWISTOWN, MT (October 23, 2019) — In the spooky spirit of Halloween, Fergus Federal Credit Union delivered pumpkins to residents at Valle Vista Manor, Eagles Manor, Shepards Way Assisted Living, and Caslen Living Centers to decorate as a Halloween activity.

“Our team is always looking for ways to give back to the community,” said Bob Bjelland, president and CEO of Fergus Federal Credit Union. “Everyone deserves a little Halloween fun, and this activity is a great way for our credit union to practice our ‘People Helping People’ philosophy and participate in this festive day.”

These residents are given time to get creative with their pumpkins and decorate to their liking. Once these pumpkins are decorated, employees for the credit union volunteer their time to collect the pumpkins and showcase them with a display in their lobby.

“I always look forward to seeing the residents faces when we show up with their pumpkins,” said Nancy Whichman, Member Service Representative at Fergus Federal Credit Union. “Our whole team gets as much joy from this as the residents do.”
