Filene welcomes Christie Kimbell as Chief Experience Officer

As CXO, she will lead the way in building relationships up, down and across organizations

Filene Research Institute announces Christie Kimbell as the Chief Experience Officer, leading Filene’s marketing strategy, account management, events and communities (i3 and Cooperative Trust). She will be responsible for driving the Filene brand experience across member organizations and stakeholder groups.

“We are thrilled to have her leadership and vision drive our Experience team forward,” said Mark Meyer, Filene’s CEO. “Christie’s strong marketing and business development skills, event planning knowledge, passion for our mission and captivating personality make her a terrific complement to our leadership team.”

With 18 years of marketing leadership and 12 years in business development, Kimbell recognizes the importance experience plays in building relationships. She starts with a deep understanding of stakeholders’ needs to ensure products and services drive business objectives. Kimbell will be instrumental in helping members translate Filene’s research and incubation concepts into actionable business practices that accelerate growth.

“The credit union and financial industry is rapidly changing and being part of a team that helps institutions navigate that change is very compelling,” said Kimbell. “Not only does Filene provide access to research, it also incubates the research to see what actually works. The more we can do to provide proven solutions to increase financial wellness; the more lives we can change.”

Before joining Filene, Kimbell worked as VP, Marketing & Client Experience at State National where she led their marketing and client experience efforts. Past roles include managing Strategic Partnerships at Capital One and Chief Marketing roles at OneTouchPoint and The Holley Group.

Kimbell enjoys spending time with family, diving into the latest suspense novel, and throwing dinner parties with friends.
