Financial Center First Credit Union awarded Lorena Couttolenc Romero with the first Pamela Gemmer Memorial Scholarship on December 9, 2019. Romero was selected the inaugural scholarship for her commitment to arts and education through her ties with Ballet Folklorico Mosaicos, an organization dedicated to teaching, preserving, and sharing the heritage of Mexican folkloric dance.
The scholarship fund was created in memory of Pamela Gemmer, who served on Financial Center’s International Advisory Council and carries on her legacy of arts, education and cultural understanding.
