Financial Support and Education for Children Championed by IQR Consulting

Data Analytics Firm Sponsors Women Leaders in Action (WLA) Golf Tournament

ROHNERT PARK CA, (June 29, 2015) — To fund essential services and educational support for children in Africa, Women Leaders in Action (WLA) recently hosted a charity golf tournament in Atlanta, Georgia. The event raised $256,000 to further WLA’s mission.

Among the event’s sponsors was IQR Consulting, a data analytics firm that has supported the event with sponsorship for the past two years.

“Through our work with community financial institutions, we have come to see the impact fair, dignified financial services can have on vulnerable communities,” said Rahul Nawab, IQR Consulting founder. “WLA’s work to provide financial and other support to children in Africa is monumentally important, and we look forward to continuing to support their efforts.”

WLA needs the most assistance helping orphans and other vulnerable children obtain an education by paying for school fees. According to the organization, requests for assistance have grown dramatically. In 2014, WLA funded school fees, scholarships, textbooks, hot meals and clean water and sanitary stations for nearly 1,700 children in the urban slums and rural villages of Kenya.
