First Capital FCU’s New East York branch now open

YORK, PA (May 11, 2015) — On Monday, May 11, 2015, First Capital Federal Credit Union opened its new East York Branch.  The branch, located at 2801 Eastern Boulevard in Springettsbury Township, replaces the branch, located at 161 Kent Road.  The new branch is state-of-the art.

“With the opening of First Capital’s new East York Branch, we have completed the transition of all of the Credit Union’s branches to state-of-the-art facilities to better serve our ever growing membership for many years to come.” said Dennis Flickinger, President/CEO.

First Capital has been looking for the perfect location for its new East York branch for many years.  We finally found the perfect spot at what was once the site of the old IRS building.  This branch provides First Capital important visibility that our location on Kent Road did not.

First Capital will host a Grand Opening celebration on May 30, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  There will be a live radio broadcast by WARM 103, food, giveaways, and more.

First Capital Federal Credit Union is a $164 million asset-size credit union with nearly 18,000 members based in York, PA.  Founded in 1954 as S.
