LOS ANGELES , CA (December 21, 2023) — First City Credit Union, a nation leading 5-star rated credit union, announced today that Royce Ngiam has joined the executive leadership team as Chief Marketing Officer entrusted with driving the brand while engaging and accelerating member growth.
With over 25 years of experience in banking/credit unions and an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of California, Riverside in 2001, Ngiam has extensive experience in creating and translating marketing strategies into actionable plans that increase brand awareness, attract and retain members and customers, while engaging the greater community with a positive and measurable return on investment. Additionally, he is a seasoned marketing professional who embraces creative development and strategies that utilize multiple platforms across the credit union’s audience through innovative solutions that are quantifiable, repeatable, and sustainable across all channels, all over
a dynamic and evolving consumer landscape. Prior to joining First City, he held various executive marketing and development roles at industry leading credit unions such as Financial Partners Credit Union and Partners Federal Credit Union.

Ngiam currently serves as the Chair of the Credit Union National Association’s Marketing and Business Development Council, holds the Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation from the National Credit Union Foundation, has a longstanding association with the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues, and is co-host of The Leadership Experiment podcast. He begins his role of Chief Marketing Officer effective December 18, 2023.
