First Entertainment Credit Union appoints new CIO
HOLLYWOOD, CA (June 15, 2020) — First Entertainment Credit Union ($1.7B in assets) has named Steve Bone SVP & Chief Information Officer.
Bone assumed his leadership role effective May 11, 2020 as part of First Entertainment Credit Union’s growth strategy focused on the progressive use of data, digital and leading-edge technology as a differentiator in the financial services and entertainment industry. “Steve brings a strong background in a digital-first mindset, and understands the strategic implications and complexities of shifting our technology platforms to meet our exponential aspirations,” said Frank Wasson, First Entertainment President & CEO.
Most recently, Bone held the role of Managing Director of Payments at Q2, a cloud-based digital banking fintech located in Austin, TX. In this role, Steve was charged with strategy, new product development and driving the expansion of the organization’s customer base through organic growth and acquisitions. Additional experiences included Senior Vice President for FIS in their Large Financial Institutions Division, Client Partner at Corillian Services, and Partner at The Capital Markets Company (CAPCO).
Bone’s professional experience, focused on digital banking, product development and strategy, will complement the First Entertainment business model as the organization looks at providing continued member value through innovative solutions.
Steve Bone holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pepperdine University.
