First Financial donates $6,500 to benefit local children

LUTHERVILLE, MD (January 7, 2021) — While the pandemic has brought about many changes, one thing that hasn’t changed is First Financial Federal Credit Union’s commitment to helping children. To that end, First Financial recently donated $6,500 to the WBAL Kids Campaign, which benefits underprivileged children in the greater Baltimore area. The campaign promotes and sponsors activities and programs, such as summer camps, field trips, literacy programs, technology, education assistance and more.

As a local credit union based in education, supporting their members and community, particularly children, is at the heart of everything they do and the foundation of the First Financial difference.

“These are uncertain times,” said First Financial Youth Outreach Manager, Cindy Jones. “And we are honored to give to the WBAL Kids Campaign again this year to help lessen that uncertainty for as many children as possible. We know that the need is greater now than ever, and we’re very thankful to have the opportunity to join with WBAL as it campaigns to bring joy to our area’s children and to continue to support the many programs it helps make possible.”
