First Financial Federal Credit Union presents 30 Year Volunteer Service Award to Elizabeth White of Ocean Township, NJ
WALL, NJ (May 10, 2013) — First Financial Federal Credit Union (www.firstffcu.com) recently held its annual meeting at their corporate headquarters in Wall, NJ, where Board Director and Committee Chairperson, Elizabeth White of Ocean Twp., NJ was presented with a 30 year volunteer service award.
Elizabeth White of Ocean Twp. has been a member of the Credit Union since 1968 and served on various committees. She was a member of the Mon-Oc Supervisory Committee from 1985 through 2003 and in August 2007, she was appointed Chairperson of the Supervisory Committee. Currently, Ms. White remains a Director on First Financial’s Board of Directors and Chairperson of the Supervisory Committee.
Ms. White retired as Teacher Administrator in the Borough of Freehold Public Schools in 1997. She was a teacher in the Philadelphia school system prior to joining the Borough of Freehold Public Schools and holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Temple University, an Ed. Master’s Degree in Psychology of Reading from Temple University Teacher’s College, and an Advanced Degree in Reading from Kean College. Ms. White is a life member and past President of the Central Jersey Club of the National Association of Negro Business and also the Professional Women’s Club, Inc. where she served as Financial Secretary, First Vice President, and President.
