First Financial Federal Credit Union does more with its Select Employer Groups (SEGs) than provide high-value financial products and services to employees; the credit union also partners with them for good community causes. Most recently, First Financial provided a $300 check donation and co-sponsored a food drive with one of its SEGs, Knorr Brake Company. The donated food items will go to the Westminster Rescue Mission, a Christian ministry that partners with local churches, businesses, social service organizations, and volunteers to provide resources and services for individuals and families in need.
In addition to the credit union’s donation, Knorr Brake Company collected food items throughout the entire month of May at its headquarters, located in Westminster, MD. Representatives from First Financial and Knorr Brake Company presented the donations to the Westminster Rescue Mission after the food drive.
“We’re always looking for new ways to strengthen our community and the food drive was an awesome opportunity to give back,” said First Financial Relationship Manager, Andrea Rapp. “Not only did we get to build a relationship with Knorr Brake Company beyond usual business, we were also able to support the Westminster Rescue Mission, an organization that truly makes a positive impact on the lives of so many people and families in our area.”
