First New York Federal Credit Union opens all branch lobbies

ALBANY, NY (May 26, 2020) — First New York Federal Credit Union has reopened all seven branches and has installed safety measures for the protection of both members and employees. The Credit Union remained open during the coronavirus outbreak, offering the use of drive-throughs, interactive teller machines and online banking services.

“Some of our members prefer doing their banking with our team members that know them personally, so we felt comfortable reopening our branches with proper health and safety protocols in place,” said Lucy G. Halstead, First New York President and CEO.

Employees will be required to wear masks and gloves and plexiglass protective barriers have been installed for extra precaution. Visit www.firstnewyork.org for a full list of branch locations and hours.
