First New York Federal Credit Union welcomes new Director of Mortgage Lending

ALBANY, NY (May 15, 2020) — First New York Federal Credit Union is proud to announce and welcome Kevin Bailey, our new Director of Mortgage Lending.

Kevin is responsible for all aspects of Mortgage Operations within the credit union’s Loan Department including origination, processing, funding, sale and quality control of conventional mortgages and home equity loans. As a member of the Compliance Committee, Kevin will keep current with State and Federal lending laws.  In addition, Kevin is responsible for the management of the Mortgage Sales team and pipeline to ensure efficient use of technology and delivery of products and services.

Kevin previously held the positions of Retail Lending Officer, Mortgage Originator, Branch Manager, Underwriter and Processor. Prior to his banking career, he was a Sous Chef.

Kevin is a graduate of SUNY Albany with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and minor in Psychology.
