Forbes releases list of America’s Best Credit Unions in Maryland

GREENBELT, MD (July 25, 2022) — Five Maryland Credit Unions were recently recognized by Forbes as being among America’s best.

Forbes partnered with Statista, a market research firm, to interview approximately 26,000 U.S. citizens from all 50 states on their overall satisfaction with their credit union.  In-depth questions were asked about trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, customer service and financial advice.  There are over 5,400 credit unions in the U.S. and only 3.4% made the Forbes best-of list, including five in Maryland.  The Maryland rankings were:

Rank    Credit Union Name
1           Tower FCU
2           Educational Systems FCU
3           First Financial FCU
4           APG FCU
5           SECU of Maryland

“It is truly an honor to be recognized by Forbes as one of the best credit unions in the nation for the third year in a row,” said Chris Conway, President/CEO of Educational Systems FCU. “Congratulations to all the credit unions who made the list.  We can all be proud of the excellent service we provide our members.”

Forbes did not include credit unions headquartered in Washington, D.C.
