FORUM Credit Union celebrates National Credit Union Youth Month™

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (March 30, 2015) — FORUM Credit Union will be celebrating National Credit Union Youth Month™ at all FORUM branch locations in April. The event, which has been a week-long celebration in past years, is now a month-long event. The event focuses on the financial needs of young people including teaching the benefits of saving money and setting financial goals.

By participating in National Credit Union Youth Month™, FORUM hopes to continue its commitment to helping kids become financially aware and create good financial habits. FORUM offers a full suite of youth savings and checking accounts. FORUM’s Aware Accounts teach kids the importance of spending, saving and sharing their money while rewarding them for making regular deposits. FORUM’s Sprout Account is a special savings account that is designed to help save money for important future expense like education.

This year’s National Credit Union Youth Month™ theme is “Wild about Savings™.” FORUM’s events will include themed giveaway items and enter to win contests. Members who open an Aware or Sprout account during the month of April will receive a special gift while supplies last. Newly opened accounts that are initially funded with at least $10 will also be entered to win a $50 deposit at each branch location.

More information on the month’s events and FORUM’s youth accounts can be found at www.forumcu.com.
