FORUM Credit Union offers new savings products
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (December 18, 2014) — FORUM Credit Union is pleased to offer two new savings accounts to members. The 52 Week Money Challenge and Saving for a Reason Account offer additional features, benefits and incentives than a standard savings account.
The 52 Week Money Challenge is an incremental savings plan that helps members save money throughout the year. The account features a simple concept: start the year off by saving a dollar the first week, and then put away an additional dollar each week after that. At the end of 52 weeks, members will save $1,378. The account also features a competitive dividend rate and automatically releases the funds for access on December 31steach year. Additionally, members who meet specific deposit criteria and successfully save at least $1,378 will be entered to win a grand prize of $1,378.
The Saving for a Reason Account is designed to help members easily save for their financial goals. The account allows members to share their savings goal with FORUM and choose a savings term that fits best with their goal. Members can choose a term between one and five years and set-up automatic transfers for simple saving. The funds are then transferred to the member’s saving or checking account at the end of the term.
