FORUM Credit Union releases mobile app update for Android devices

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (July 15, 2014) –– FORUM Credit Union has released an updated mobile application for Android devices.  The update brings new features and functionality to Android phones and now supports Android tablets.

The app extends services to members’ mobile devices and tablets and conveniently brings FORUM’s online banking program, CU Online, to users. The upgraded app features a complete redesign to the user interface and allows members to check account balances, review history, pay bills, transfer funds, communicate securely with credit union staff, and receive notifications via email or text message.  The update also allows members to deposit checks to their accounts from within the app using eligible devices and no longer requires users to download a separate app.

The updated app also extends features and functionality to Android tablet users. Members can enroll in CU Online from the mobile app and add a checking or health savings account to their existing account. Likewise, non-members can apply for and open qualifying accounts from the app itself.  The app also connects members to FORUM news articles and gives them the ability to communicate with a representative through secure messaging.

The free app is available for download in the Google Play Store and the Amazon Appstore for Android by searching “FORUM Credit Union.”  The updated app adds to FORUM’s existing Apple apps for iOS devices including the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. This free app is available for download in Apple’s App store by searching “FORUM Credit Union.”
