Four area students receive First Atlantic scholarships

EATONTOWN, N.J. (July 1, 2015) — Recently, four Monmouth and Ocean county high school students received $1,000 scholarships from First Atlantic Federal Credit Union.

Carl Cazeau of Asbury Park High School; Katherine Oksen of Toms River High School South; Norberto Rivera of Christian Brothers Academy; and Kaylee Walsh of Raritan High School all received scholarships based on academic performance, personal statement and financial need.

“With the increasing costs of college education today, it is a pleasure to offset some of those expenses for deserving area students,” said First Atlantic President/CEO John Culp. “We wish the winners, all of the applicants and all of our First Atlantic members attending college in the Fall the best of luck with their education and their future endeavors.”

All four of the chosen recipients are slated to attend four year colleges throughout the U.S.
