Four nominated for Credit Union Hero of the Year

WASHINGTON, DC (February 5, 2020) — Nominations are in for Credit Union Magazine’s Credit Union Hero of the Year award, sponsored by Symitar. These four credit union professionals have already been selected as Credit Union Heroes:

  • Robin Brule, chief community engagement officer, Nusenda Credit Union
  • Margaret Delmonico, retired director of public relations, PSECU
  • Davina Napier, chief lending officer, Credit Union 1
  • Dave Prosser, senior vice president community development, Freedom First Federal Credit Union

“Our Heroes this year represent excellence in financial education, corporate social responsibility, community impact, and serving the underserved,” says Ann Hayes Peterson, CUNA vice president of publishing and Credit Union Magazine’s editor-in-chief. “We want everyone to learn about these unsung heroes who, with their passion and dedication, have made a lasting impact on their credit union and community, and on behalf of all credit unions.”

Remember, a credit union hero is someone who best exemplifies credit union philosophy and ideals by going above and beyond in their role to make a difference for their credit union and communities.

Don’t forget to vote for your Credit Union Hero by March 20. The winner will be recognized at World Moving: A Joint Credit Union Conference, July 19-22 in Los Angeles.
