Free “Road to Homeownership” financial class offered

TINTON FALLS, NJ (February 6, 2014)– United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union (UTF) is hosting a free financial education session for first-time homebuyers titled “The Road to Homeownership” by Leon Maganza. The event will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm at the Monmouth County Library Eastern Branch at 1001 Route 35 in Shrewsbury, NJ.

Maganza will discuss common financial questions related to buying a home including saving for a down payment, what the various finance fees cover and what steps buyers should take in preparation of purchasing a first home. He’ll also share tips on refinancing and answer questions about mortgages and homeownership.
