Freedom Credit Union hires new mortgage lending manager

WARMINSTER, PA (January 14, 2014) — Freedom Credit Union is pleased to announce the hiring of Jim Calista as Mortgage Lending Manager.  “Favorable conditions in the current housing market and attractive interest rate environment make this the perfect time to expand our presence in the real estate market,” according to Anthony Silvi, Vice President of Financial Services for Freedom.  “We are reengineering our entire mortgage process and will introduce state of the art technology but felt that finding the right leadership first was crucial,” Silvi adds. Calista brings 20+ years of management experience in the mortgage industry and has worked for Countrywide Home Loans, PNC Mortgage, and New York Life.  He resides in Jamison, PA with wife Jennifer and children Cameron and Keira.
