Freedom Credit Union welcomes former Mayfair Federal Credit Union members

WARMINSTER, PA (April 1, 2014) — Freedom Credit Union is pleased to welcome over 1,100 new Members to the Credit Union. President/CEO Lee T. MacMinn said, “We’re excited to have the opportunity to service these new Members.  We believe that our suite of financial products will help the former Mayfair members meet their financial needs. We truly believe that adding these new Members to Freedom will be great for everyone.”

Formerly located in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, these new Freedom Members will have more local branches and ATM locations as well as a full line of eServices to conduct their financial business. The new Freedom Credit Union Members will experience no interruption in services, and their Accounts remain federally insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund up to $250,000. Administered by NCUA, the fund has the backing of the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government.
