Genisys Sponsors Wixom Panther Hunt/Fall Fest

Auburn Hills, MI, October 22, 2012 – Genisys Credit Union recently sponsored the 24th Annual Panther Hunt/Fall Fest on October 13, 2012, at Gilbert Willis Park in Wixom.

The event is a long-time tradition where families search for the elusive panther along a trick or treat trail. Luckily, the 200 attendees were able to find the panther before they enjoyed cider and donuts, a bonfire, face painting and pony rides. A pumpkin painting craft station was also provided for children to decorate a pumpkin to take home.

“The Panther Hunt brings lots of excitement to the Wixom community and provides a unique way for families to enjoy all of the fun festivities that fall has to offer,” said Jackie Buchanan, CEO.

Halloween costumes were worn not only by the kids at Fall Fest, but by their parents too, as families danced away to all of the latest Monster Mash hits provided by the DJ.

“For those who braved the spooky weather, a good time was had by all,” said Linda Hinkley, Wixom Parks & Recreation Supervisor.
