Georgia United Credit Union Donates $500 to South Forsyth High School’s “Pink Out” Night for Breast Cancer Awareness

Cumming, GA (October 18, 2012) – Georgia United Credit Union is excited to announce that South Forsyth High School received $500 from Georgia United for their “Pink Out” Night, a fundraiser benefiting breast cancer awareness. As they prepared to face off against the Chattahoochee Cougars, the dedicated War Eagle fans donned pink attire to show their support for those affected by breast cancer. Prior to kickoff, attendees released pink balloons into the night sky and walked a victory lap around the track to honor victims and survivors.

Students, faculty, staff and friends of South Forsyth High School joined forces in supporting the fight against breast cancer as they purchased tasty baked goods and the popular “Pink Out” T-shirts. South Forsyth had raised a total of $4,287.00. Sponsors like Georgia United Credit Union collaborated with South Forsyth to help make “Pink Out” Night a lucrative fundraising opportunity and fun for all who attended.

“Our Pink Out Night was a tremendous success, thanks to our valued business partners in education like Georgia United. These organizations’ hard work and support is instrumental to the sustainability of our school’s programs, events and Booster Club,” said Sandy Cole, Project Coordinator for Pink Out Night: We are South Forsyth Focused on a Cure.
