Georgia United Credit Union holds ribbon-cutting & open house at Chattanooga Avenue location June 16

DALTON, GA (June 17, 2015) — Georgia United Credit Union celebrated the Grand Opening of their second branch location at 1412 Chattanooga Avenue in Dalton on Tuesday, June 16, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. by holding an Open House for the community. The Dalton-Whitfield and Murray County Chambers of Commerce were on hand for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m.

The Chattanooga Avenue Branch was gained through the merger partnership between HealthCom Federal Credit Union and Georgia United earlier this spring.  This second Dalton location joins Georgia United’s 605 Calhoun Street office to bring Georgia United’s branch location total to 17.

Georgia United Market Manager Vonda Bledsoe shares, “The addition of HealthCom’s 1412 Chattanooga Avenue location and their branch team have already added so much to Georgia United.  And, the HealthCom members have enjoyed the additional products and services.  We enjoyed having our members and partner companies stop by this new location and have a chance to check out Georgia United and win cash prizes.”

Georgia United Credit Union serves all residents of Whitfield and Murray Counties.
