Georgia United Credit Union makes $1,275 technology donation to Pine Street Elementary in Conyers

CONYERS, GA (March 7, 2014) — Georgia United Credit Union presented $1,275 to Pine Street Elementary today as a donation to help meet the school’s technology initiatives. This donation will specifically help the Title 1 school purchase iPads, so more children can have the tools they need.

Pine Street Elementary is one of the oldest schools in Rockdale County, having opened its doors to the community in 1957. Located at 960 Pine Street, PSE is a family school rooted in history, while embracing change and diversity. Their mission is to build a strong academic foundation, cultivate the desire to learn, and develop responsible and respectful members of society by providing a caring, challenging, and safe environment.
