Georgia United Credit Union Seeks Holiday Toy & Clothing Donations for Foster Children in Annual Wish Tree Program
Duluth, GA (November 16, 2012) Georgia United Credit Union is holding its 23rd annual Wish Tree program to collect new toys and articles of clothing for deserving foster children with local Departments of Family & Children’s Services. Georgia United invites any interested individuals, schools, or civic groups, to participate by dropping off a gift at any of the 16 Georgia United Branch locations before December 14 so deliveries can be made to DFCS prior to the week of Christmas.
The Christmas Wish Tree Program is one of Georgia United’s longest running community service projects and one of its most successful with an estimated 12,500 gifts donated to multiple county DFCS offices during the 23 year old tenure of the program.
