Georgia United Credit Union & Star94 Radio Deliver 2,524 School Supplies to Local Schools

Duluth, GA (October 10, 2012) – Georgia United Credit Union and Star94 Radio teamed up in August & September for a school supply drive to meet the growing needs of the students and teachers in the communities served by Georgia United.  Thanks to the many members and employees who spread the word and dropped off new school supplies or cash donations at one of Georgia United’s 16 branch locations (listed on second page).  Over 2,500 supplies (from notebooks to hand sanitizer) were collected and distributed to selected schools in our communities, including a number of homeless student programs.
