Georgia United Credit Union welcomes Christy Willis as new Supervisory Committee member

DULUTH, GA (July 7, 2015) — Georgia United Credit Union is excited to announce the selection of Christy Willis as the newest member of its Supervisory Committee. The Supervisory Committee reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for overseeing the accuracy of record-keeping and protection of the credit union’s assets.

Ms. Willis has been a member of Georgia United since 2002 and brings over 20 years of experience in finance and auditing to the organization. She is currently the director of finance for Henry County’s Board of Education, where she oversees the financial planning, budgeting, and procurement for the school system.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Public Accounting, from Georgia Southern University and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Ms. Willis and her husband, Jim, live in McDonough with their two children, Jay and Mary Catherine.
