Gerry Dick to address Centra Annual Meeting
COLUMBUS, IN (March 25, 2014) — Gerry Dick is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at Centra Credit Union’s Annual Meeting on April 7, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the YES Cinema in Columbus, IN. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. The meeting is free and open to Centra members and the public, subject to seating limitations. Dick is the host and creator of Inside INdiana Business television and serves as president and managing editor of Grow INdiana Media Ventures, LLC, an Indianapolis-based media company focused on producing and distributing Indiana business news and information. He will address highlights of the Indiana and local economy, as well as latest trends in the banking industry.
Recognized across the state as an Indiana business leader and a respected business journalist, Dick’s television show can be seen on 15 Indiana network and public stations. Additionally, listeners can tune into his business updates on 27 statewide radio stations or get their news on-demand from a collection of email, web and mobile business news products he creates. He has twice been awarded the state’s top honor, the Sagamore of the Wabash, most recently from Governor Mitch Daniels. He has been awarded Ernst and Young’s prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was recognized by the Small Business Administration as its Journalist of the Year. Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick has also received an EMMY for best interview/discussion program/series or special. A frequent moderator on issues related to Indiana business and the state’s economy, Dick also serves as a business news analyst for WTHR-TV (NBC) and 93 WIBC Radio in Indianapolis.
Centra’s Annual Meeting will feature not only Gerry Dick’s keynote remarks and a Question/Answer session with the news veteran, but also a look-back at Centra’s successes during 2013. An Apple iPad Mini, a GoPro Hero 3 Silver Edition Camera, and two $50 cash prizes will be awarded to several lucky attendees.
