Global supports Idaho’s “Local Gems Initiative” – buy local on April 24th
SPOKANE, WA (April 24, 2020) — Today Global Credit Union is proud to participate in the Support Local Gems Initiative. The initiative is a statewide campaign to encourage Idahoans to shop at small businesses on April 24, 2020.
In support of local businesses, Global is purchasing meals from The Local Deli and Big Bear Deli, two locally owned establishments, to provide lunch for our essential employees serving members in the Coeur d’Alene and Posts Falls branches.
“Global is dedicated to supporting our community through these uncertain times,” said Jack Fallis, CEO/President, Global Credit Union. “We are proud to take part in the Support Local Gems Initiative.”
The Support Local Gems Initiative supports the small businesses in our community whose operations have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Governor Brad Little, Idaho’s Congressional delegation, along with dozens of city and state organizations are all pitching in on the effort to stabilize the foundations of Idaho’s small businesses.
