ABBEVILLE, SC (November 14, 2013) -- Greater Abbeville Federal Credit Union, GAFCU, held a ribbon cutting and grand re-opening ceremony of its branch on Wednesday, November 13th.
An extensive renovation project started over the summer added more than 1,000 square feet and three new offices to the branch to handle an increased demand for services from GAFCU members.
"This renovation is a testament to the need in our community" said Faye Crocker, CEO of Greater Abbeville FCU. "Over the past twelve months we've spent a lot of time working with members who really need a second chance in their financial lives, and as word has gotten out we've seen an increased demand for our loan products and other financial services we offer." Crocker said.
In addition to the new space, the teller line and existing offices underwent extensive cosmetic changes, and an ATM was added beside the new front entrance.
