Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union wins the Austin Chapter of Credit Union’s Outstanding Community Service Award

AUSTIN, TX (February 14, 2014) — Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union (GTFCU) was presented with the Austin Chapter of Credit Unions (ACCU) 2013 Outstanding Community Service Award at their Spring Social Mixer on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.

The ACCU Outstanding Community Service Award was developed to honor an Austin, Texas credit union that is passionate about making a difference in their community through outreach.

Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union was recognized for consistently demonstrating support of the Austin community by charity fundraising, donations to non-profit organizations, representation at community events, and employee volunteer outings.

Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union was established in 1952, has over 160 employees and 17 branches across Texas to serve its members and is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley.
