Greenville Gas Turbine Employees Federal Credit Union Celebrates Grand Re-Opening

Greenville, SC  – Greenville Gas Turbine Employees Federal Credit Union (GGTEFCU) celebrated the grand re-opening of their branch after several weeks of major renovations. The ribbon cutting took place on Saturday October 6th during Family Day on the campus of the GE Gas Turbine Plant, the sponsor organization of Greenville Gas Turbine Employees Federal Credit Union. “This was a major step in looking towards the future” said Mark Schmidt, CEO of GGTEFCU. “Each aspect of our renovation was focused around being able to better serve our members” Schmidt said.

Greenville Gas Turbine Employees Federal Credit Union Federal Credit Union is a member owned financial cooperative that was formed in 1976 to serve the employees of the General Electric Gas Turbine facility in Greenville SC. Since then, GGTEFCU has added employees from Duluth and Atlanta, Georgia as well as contract workers from all locations.
