Greg Hilbert retires; Steve Koenen joins Corporate Central board
MILWAUKEE, WI (January 14, 2020) — After 17 years of dedicated volunteer service, including Chairman from 2011-2013, Greg Hilbert, President/CEO of Fox Communities Credit Union in Appleton, WI, has retired from the Corporate Central Credit Union Board of Directors.
“Greg has played an instrumental role in guiding Corporate Central to success and we are so appreciative of his time spent serving on the board,” said Sally Dischler, current Chairman. “We extend a heartfelt thank you for his outstanding leadership and we wish him nothing but the best in his retirement.”
To fill the vacant position, the Corporate Central Board unanimously appointed Steve Koenen, President/CEO of Altra Federal Credit Union, based in Onalaska, WI. Koenen has over 30 years of financial industry knowledge. He completed a three-year term in the prestigious Filene Research Institution’s i3 project, he has completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and he earned his Certified Chief Executive (CCE) diploma from the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES).
“Corporate Central’s aspiration to collaborate within the movement and find ways to help member credit unions grow and achieve success is incredible,” Koenen said. “I am very grateful and excited for the opportunity to support their mission.”
