Grow Financial teams up with the Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions to support the “Cruise for Kids” Motorcycle Run

TAMPA, FL (April 10, 2015) — Grow Financial, one of the leading Credit Unions in the nation, is once again proud to participate in The Tampa Chapter of Credit Union’s 11th Annual Credit Union Cruise for Kids Motorcycle Poker Run to benefit local children’s charities. This year’s race is scheduled for Sunday, April 12.

Registration begins at 10:00am at the first stop, Brandon Harley. Bikers will rev up their motorcycles at 10:15 am that morning, and continue on to Uncle Mike’s Grill in Plant City and Cahill’s Motorsports in Zephyrhills before finishing the ride at the Quail Hollow Country Club in Wesley Chapel. There, riders will enjoy a post-cruise celebration featuring live music by Southern Train, 50/50 drawing, bike contest, biker club trophy, basket raffles, and other giveaways. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase a ticket for the 11th Annual Credit Union Cruise for Kids grand prize of a $5,000 Visa® gift card. The drawing for the grand prize will be held at 11:00 am on April 24, 2015 at CU AutoBranch, 6809 E. Hillsborough Ave. Tampa FL.

Over ten years, the annual Credit Union Cruise for Kids has raised a total of $530,000 for donations to organizations which nurture children. This year will be no different as twelve local charities will be selected to receive 100% of the money raised. The charities for 2015 include: For Every Child, Boys & Girls Club Tampa Bay, Clothes to Kids, Oasis Network, Boys & Girls Hernando, All Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Boys & Girls Club Suncoast, Pasco Kids First, Inc., Sylvia Thomas Center of Adoptive and Foster Families, Bacchus for Charity and Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches.
