GTE Financial promotes Gerhard Toth to Vice President of Business Banking
TAMPA, FL (October 11, 2022) — GTE Financial, Tampa’s premier not-for-profit credit union, is pleased to announce the promotion of Gerhard Toth to Vice President of Business Banking. Toth quickly worked his way up after his first year at the credit union from Business Banking Manager to Vice President.
“Gerhard has shown outstanding leadership and knowledge within our business banking division,” comments Manny Aguilar, Senior Vice President of Commercial and Advisory Services. “He continues to quickly and efficiently deliver innovative lending solutions to local businesses across Tampa Bay while taking the time to learn and connect with our members.”
After joining GTE Financial in mid-2021, Toth is responsible for the member business banking experience with best-in-class service, products, and efficiencies. He provides over 25 years of experience and expertise in commercial lending, relationship management, business development, strategic leadership, fraud mitigation, team building, and international business.
Toth has held commercial banking and team leader executive roles throughout his financial services career and has eight years of international business experience working for a telecommunications manufacturer. He graduated from Florida Southern College with a BS in Business Administration and is also a graduate of Gulf Coast Leadership Institute and Leadership Manatee.
Toth has a strong passion for philanthropy, serving as a board member for United Way Sarasota/Desoto, and the Braden River Soccer Club. He is also active in the Tampa Bay community by supporting UnidosNow, the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, CareerEdge Funders Collaborative, and Junior Achievement.
