Guadalupe Credit Union announces Michelle Lowrie as new Chief Financial Officer

SANTA FE, NM (May 16, 2024) — Guadalupe Credit Union (GCU) proudly announces the promotion of Michelle Lowrie to Chief Financial Officer. A Santa Fe native and an alumna of Santa Fe High School, Michelle has dedicated 15 years to GCU and holds over 31 years of experience in the credit union industry. Her journey at GCU has been marked by progressive leadership roles, including Teller, Bookkeeper, Accounting Manager, Financial Controller, VP of Accounting & EFT, culminating in her new role as CFO.

Michelle is currently furthering her education at Western Governors University, exemplifying her commitment to continuous personal and professional growth. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending quality time with her family, baking, and engaging in floral design, bringing creativity and meticulous attention to all aspects of her life.

Michelle now joins an esteemed group on our executive team, which is led by Tanya Romero-Sturgeon (President/CEO), alongside Diane Sandoval-Griego (Chief of Financial Empowerment), and Antoinette Ross (Chief Operations Officer). This leadership team is dedicated to advancing our mission of providing financial empowerment to the communities we serve.
