Hanscom Federal Credit Union (HFCU) is proud to announce a new partnership with Blue Star Families – New England Chapter, a milestone that reflects the credit union’s continued commitment to serving the military community. With this addition to its field of membership, which was approved by both the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and HFCU’s Board of Directors, more individuals connected to military service will now have expanded access to HFCU’s trusted financial products, services, and coaching.

In celebration of “Blue Star Welcome Week,” the HFCU Charitable Foundation made a $25,000 to the cause, which supports the move and transition for an estimated 600,000 military families every year.

By prioritizing the unique needs of these communities, the organization helps families thrive through career support, financial education, caregiver resources, and a powerful sense of belonging.

The New England Chapter of Blue Star Families spans key regions including Greater Boston, Hanscom Air Force Base, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Members will now be able to join Hanscom Federal Credit Union through their affiliation with this vital organization, gaining access to competitive loan and savings products, personalized financial coaching, and innovative tools like HFCU’s new WealthTrek financial wellness experience centers.
