HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union’s new website named Site of the Year

The website underwent a redesign and relaunch in December 2023

HONOLULU, HI (March 7, 2024) — HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union (HawaiiUSA) was named a Kentico Site of the Year for 2023 for the redesign of its website, which was completed late last year in December. The award-winning website was recognized in the Financial Services category, one of 10 industry award categories.

Dubbed the “digital hall of fame” by Kentico, an international leader in website services, their Site of the Year contest recognizes websites that showcase excellence in creativity, innovation, content strategy, and technological implementation. Only Kentico partners and clients qualify for the awards, which honors sites with remarkable digital experiences and exceptional user journeys. A Kentico committee selects the winners, resulting in the highest number of votes in each category.

“We appreciate this special acknowledgement from Kentico and also commend our website design partner and digital agency, ZAG Interactive, for their superb work on our website redesign,” says Greg Young, HawaiiUSA’s president and CEO. “This award reaffirms HawaiiUSA’s strategic commitment in prioritizing technological innovation amid a fast-changing financial industry. On the heels of the onboarding of our new Chief Data Officer, and preceding the opening of an innovative branch design and interactive service model in Kaka‘ako in April, this recognition fully aligns with our commitment to stay relevant in the digital space.”
