Why: Blizzard® Treat Sales Benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are supported nationwide by credit unions through Credit Unions for Kids, a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues/associations, and business partners from across the country. Adopted as the credit union movement’s charity of choice, credit unions are the 3rd largest sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

“I am very proud of our support of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through Credit Unions for Kids, and the DQ®Miracle Treat Day is a great way to participate in something special to help children in our local communities,” said Ruth Jenkins, CCE, CUERME, President and CEO of Heritage Federal Credit Union.  “The best part of this partnership is that the money raised in our local Dairy Queens will stay in our community and help provide critical treatments, equipment, and charitable care for our local children who need assistance. We are also very happy to be celebrating the 100 millionth member milestone for our industry with a well-deserved cool treat on a warm August day for all of our employees.”
