PrimeWay Healthcare Community Credit Union presented the inaugural Vital Impact Award to Lynn Garcia, LVN (Transplant – Pre Post Liver), of Houston Methodist. The award recognizes a healthcare professional who demonstrates compassion, excellence, and humanitarian service. As the 2025 honoree, Ms. Garcia will receive a cruise for two, and PrimeWay will donate $10,000 to the Houston Methodist Foundation in Garcia’s name.
Garcia’s colleagues describe her as a calming leader and problem-solver who “makes people feel seen, heard, and cared for,” and who intuitively steps in when others are struggling. One coworker recalled a personal loss; before being asked, Lynn quietly connected them with a hospital chaplain, a gesture that helped them begin the healing process.
“Frontline healthcare workers like Lynn give their all to our community,” said T.W.
