Humanidei launches ‘Unlocking Talent’ – A two-part webinar series to revolutionize hiring and inclusion in credit unions

Humanidei, a leading advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the credit union industry, is proud to announce its inaugural webinar series, “Unlocking Talent”, designed to transform hiring practices and workplace inclusion for people with disabilities. This groundbreaking two-part series will provide invaluable insights and actionable strategies to help credit unions build a more diverse and inclusive workforce. The series will launch in October, a month designated as National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), in order to help expand access and equity for people with disabilities in the workplace.

Part 1: Unlocking Talent: Transforming Credit Union Hiring Through Inclusivity

The first session will guide participants through the process of recruiting and hiring individuals with disabilities, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity in the talent acquisition process. Attendees will learn how to identify and eliminate barriers within hiring practices, creating opportunities for a broader pool of talented candidates. Participants will leave equipped with practical tools to foster a more diverse, innovative, and equitable workforce. Part 2: Unlocking Talent: Disability Inclusion: Inclusion above Compliance

The second session focuses on advancing disability inclusion beyond mere compliance. Participants will explore the critical importance of fostering a positive disability corporate culture and discuss the growing role of digital accessibility and hybrid work environments in supporting employees with disabilities. Matthew Shapiro President/CEO of Six Wheels Consulting will highlight common barriers faced by the 56 million Americans living with disabilities and provide practical solutions for creating an inclusive workplace that supports all team members. From transforming physical spaces to reshaping organizational culture, this session will equip leaders with the insights needed to drive real change.
