She is a ten-year member of Hancock County 4-H, has earned several philanthropic awards for her volunteerism, and has a passion to work with people and business. Her ultimate goal is to earn a law degree and open up a Family & Elder Law Office in Hancock County.
“Education is something I am passionate about and this scholarship allows our family the opportunity to give back to students in our community,” said Ron Collier, President and CEO of Indiana Members Credit Union. “I am honored to present this scholarship to Rachel and help her achieve her financial dream and wish her continued success with her future education.”
Indiana Members Foundation plans to award all of their 2020 Scholarship and Grant recipients individually this year. “In this time of social distancing, we felt it best to honor the recipients individually, in lieu of our annual awards banquet, and what better place than in front of their high school, alma mater or organization,” Collier said.
