Intouch Credit Union announces new Memphis branch location on Poplar Avenue
The Memphis ITCU location will be closed Monday, June 29 as equipment is moved to the new branch
MEMPHIS, TN (June 25, 2015) — InTouch Credit Union announced that their Poplar Branch will be relocating down the street from their current location to its new home located at 3245 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. Unlike the prior location, the new Poplar Branch will feature a drive-thru teller window and ATM; it will also begin to be a servicer for participants in the Shared Branching Network.
To accommodate the move, the current Poplar branch location will close permanently at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26. The new branch location will remain closed on Monday, June 29 to relocate necessary equipment from the former branch location but will open for business on Tuesday, June 30 at 9 a.m.
ITCU members are asked to utilize alternative banking channels while the branch is closed, such as their ITCU Debit MasterCard, the ITCU Mobile Banking App for iPhone® and Android™ or by visiting a Shared Branching location in the greater Memphis area . Members in need of a Shared Branch or surcharge-free ATM can visit ITCU.org to find a location near them.
In 2014, ITCU merged in the members of the former Hospitality Federal Credit Union, which included the Poplar Branch. This merger added membership eligibility for employees of Hilton Worldwide®, IHG®, Caesars Entertainment® and the immediate family members of these employees. Employees at participating hotels in the Metropolitan Memphis Hotel and Lodging Association are also eligible for Credit Union membership.
“We are very excited about relocating the branch as it offers us new opportunities to serve those eligible for membership in the Memphis area, including the additional convenience of extended hours through our new drive-thru window and 24-hour drive-up ATM,” said Diane Gerstner, Executive Vice President of ITCU.
Beginning June 30, the branch hours at the new location will be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the lobby and Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the drive-thru.
