Iowa Credit Union Foundation hires new executive director

DES MOINES, IA (January 24, 2014) — The Iowa Credit Union Foundation (ICUF) is pleased to announce the hiring of its Executive Director, Jaimie Miller. In this position, Jaimie supports ICUF’s strategic directives, leads capacity building through strategic fundraising, administers programs and strengthens relationships with Iowa credit unions, community partners and other key audiences.

Prior to joining ICUF, Jaimie served as the Director of Philanthropy for WesleyLife where she led fundraising efforts for various programs including Meals on Wheels, Hospice and the Good Samaritan program, resulting in more than $600,000 raised in charitable support. She served as the Fund Development Manager for Girl Scouts of Iowa and as a Governmental Affairs Intern for PolicyWorks. She is a 2014 class member of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, serves as a board member with the Mid Iowa Planned Giving Council, New Leaders Council of Des Moines and Lead Like a Lady, a young professional women’s breakfast club. Jaimie also volunteers with her church, Junior League of Des Moines and the Variety Club of Iowa.
