Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union Employees Donate to Merrimack Valley Food Bank

LOWELL – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is pleased to announce the donation of $2,165 to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, thanks to the generous contributions of the Credit Union’s employees.

“Our employees recognize social responsibility as an important part of our overall mission,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “They know this can be a difficult time of year for those who are struggling to make ends meet and wanted to help make the season a little brighter for others. We are very proud to know we have such caring employees.”

The Merrimack Valley Food Bank, based in Lowell, is a nonprofit organization committed to providing nutritious food and personal care items to emergency feeding programs serving the low-income, homeless, and hungry. It is one of four food banks in Massachusetts that serves food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, day and residential programs that, in turn, serve individuals and families.
